Partnership with the municipality of Recife to analyze data on gender-based violence using semantic analysis and artificial intelligence.
The Project “Data Triangulation – Linking Health and Non-Health Data Sources for Informed Public Health Policy- and Decision-Making”, funded by the Global Grants program, promoted technical cooperation between the Goiânia Municipal Secretariat of Health and Vital Strategies in 2021.
The main objective of the initiative was, by matching different data from the Goiânia Municipal Secretariat of Health, to promote innovative analyses related to gender-based violence in the municipality. By matching databases from public health systems, such as the Notifiable Diseases and Conditions Information System (SINAN), Mortality Information System (SIM) and Hospital Information System (SIH), it was possible to map the trajectory of victims in health services and produce useful analyses for planning actions to confront violence.
